1. How far along should my project be?

You don’t need a finished draft. You do need an active romance project you’re ready to engage with. You can join in while drafting or revising or even after querying and needing a new pep in your step.

2. What happens after I apply?

I review applications personally. Applications close on January 28th. You will be notified of selection by February 7th. Applying does not make you obligated to joining.

3. How selective is the Romance Incubator?

</aside>

I’m curating a small cohort of 6 writers. In addition to facilitating the room, I’m matching writers into critique partnerships. This means some strong projects may not be the right fit this time based on the rest of the applicants.
